My book is finally done and now available in Soft Cover, Hard Cover and Digital PDF.

At the summit of Mount Kinabalu 4095.2 meters

At the summit of Mount Kinabalu 4095.2 meters, half a poncho, very cold and numb, only 30 of 150 made it. So proud of my family.Very heavy rain and gail winds at -1/-2 degrees, all totally wet and super exhausted. We made it!!  I achieved a new level understanding for determination, dedication and patience. Lesson to life...Anything is possible, take it one step at a time, be adventurous and live in the moment... ALWAYS !! I was never a climber nor was I really into climbing until my decision to do this with my father, for him as a team and for my late grandfather at his birthplace (Sabah) and also for my entrepreneurial spirit.

Where it all started for me....

Taking a memorial trip back to where it all started for me in 1988/89 at Johnny Two Thumbs Tattoo Studio, Singapore established since 1942 with my mentor and best buddy Chak Tat. Respect!! I learnt a lot from this fine gentleman both in advice and tattoo. I'll never forget it! #bestsingaporetattoostudio #chaktat #johnnytwothumbs #besttattooshop #fareastplaza #marcpinto #marcpintotattoo #tattoo #singaporetattoo #johnnytwothumb

Ramu Mask from New Guinea

Inline image 1

The Ramu Masks originated from the Ramu river in northern Papua New Guinea. Many local villagers have lived along the river for thousands of years and the river has formed the basis for food, transport and culture.Specifically there are mask-making villages all along the Sepik. Carved from hardwood, the mask is usually mark with a small piercing either in the nose or ears. It also has traces of shell inlay. In the lower Ramu River, the mask is often used in ceremonial dances.

We have a collection of these masks for sale. We would also like to buy single pieces or collections from various areas in Papua New Guinea ( PNG ) preferred collected before 1965.
